About me
Hi, this is Niccolò Salvato.
Since the very first times my father pointed his VHS camera or his Nikon D80 at me, I was trying to catch those curious objects with my tiny chubby hands, to see what was happening behind the camera. For me, it has always been about telling stories through images.
Born and raised in Milan, I attended the Classical High School at the Istituto Salesiano St. Ambrogio Opera Don Bosco.
I'm now a graduate at the University of Westminster, London.
After having written, produced and directed my first short film at the age of fifteen, I enforced by cinematic knowledge with a six-week experience at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
I have created award-winning short films and documentaries, always striving for stories that could resonate universally.
I have worked with different institutions, companies, and individuals for the realisation of tailored products such as commercials, music videos and reels.
I got the chance to work on the Netflix set of 'Luther', having a first insight of the industry experience.
My latest short drama 'Letter To You' has been premiered at L'Arlequin in central Paris, and has been awarded as 'Best Film' and 'Best Actress' at the Les Regards de l'Icart.
I am currently in the development of a 'proof of concept' short film, an international co-production with (SIC) Pictures and EP:IK Pictures.
